COTTON Foliar diseases Alternaria leaf spot (Alternaria macrospora) Spray neem oil 3% or Bacillus subtilis @ 0.5% on 60, 90 and 120 DAS Wilt (Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. vasinfectum) Treat seeds with Trichoderma viride @ 4g/kg Remove and destroy the infected plant debris Apply Trichoderma viride @1.0 kg/ac along with 20 kg FYM basally Root Rot (Rhizoctonia bataticola) Treat seeds with T. viride@ 4 g/kg or Bacillus subtilis @ 10 g/kg seed Remove and destroy the infected plant debris Apply Bacillus subtilis @ 1.0 kg/ acre along with 20 kg FYM basally HARVESTING Harvest kapas at an interval of 5-7 days Immediately after harvesting, shade dry the kapas to avoid discolouration Average yield (irrigated): 14 - 16 q/ha Updated on Apr 2023
